Brad, No college I am aware of offers classes to become a guide.

If you are interested in understanding trout better, take some classes in Biology, entomology. Most colleges including community schools will offer these.

TO become a guide, call your state department of fish and wildlife service. Talk to them.

Or, intern at a well known fly fishing camp or school. You will learn more doing that than anything.

Hi

I am a self-taught fly angler and am going into my senior year in high school, and am starting to think of collage. I am just wondering what collage classes would be helpful to take that would help me in accomplishing my goal to becoming a fly fishing guide, and if there are any good collages that carry these courses. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
