The York and Dartmouth Rivers
Gaspe, Quebec
June Fly Fishing: June 13 June 18, 2005
Catch and Release Season - June 1 to June 21st.
Arrive June13
Lodging for 5 nights.
There are 4 days of fishing, two days guided and two days on our own.
June 14 through June 17 fishing the York and the Dartmouth Rivers.
Depart June 18, 2005.
Fly into Gaspe Airport, you will be picked up at the airport.
Or, drive to Gaspe, Quebec with me or with your own vehicle.
The total price = $1200.00, which includes the following; (50% down payment to reserve your spot).
Lodging at Fort Ramsey Motel.
All license fees.
All river fees for the water we fish.
Two days of guides 1 day guided on the York River and 1-day guided on the Dartmouth River.
Car rental fee and local travel by Quebec Sporting as needed.
I will have an SUV leaving Syracuse early on June 13 will be able to take 3 people with me we can split gas cost.
Trophy Atlantic Salmon Opportunities
Salmon start entering the York River by mid-May. The first runs are the BIG males and females.
Fish sizes in June are between 12 to 35Lb +.
The York and Dartmouth will be the rivers we will fish.
York Sectors 1-2-3-4-5-6-7.
Dartmouth Sectors 1-2.
The sectors will be all wading pools.
Rods: either Spey or 9'5" + and single handed are all okay in 8 and 9 wt.
Wet fly fishing only ( Bring a few dries in case"....) ( sinking tips if you have any.....)
Will most probably be high water conditions, cold water and outside temp roughly 70° + degrees.
All licenses, river sector permits and fishing information will be ready when we arrive.
Meals not included motel restaurant and Qaspe restaurants have very good menus that are very reasonable at the Canadian dollar value</HTML>
