I am a die-hard flyfisherman. Grew up in Montana, lived the life I can only dream about now. Currenlty I am in Iraq, with my flyrod. Only fish here to catch are carp. So, I need advice on flyfishing for carp. Don't throw rocks, its all I've got until next year. I have caught a few, mostly little ones 1-2 pounds and one that went about 5. I am using a Wooly Bug, but looking for other patterns that work. thanks for any help.</HTML>

<HTML>hey wulff were in iraq are you getting to fish those carp? i was in iraq back in 03 at camp anaconda. i tied my own flys there an made a fly rod from a singars antenna. an also made my own fly reel, it wasnt pretty but it would do the job. i tried to get a fly in the local water canal twice an everytime those iraqi's would ruin my fishing by firing motars in the area. good luck fishin to ya an keep your head down.</HTML>
