Fishing in the New York area late october

Hi

I'm going to spend the last week in October in New York City.
and I really want to spend a couple of days dry flyfishing. I heard great things about Farmington and Housatonic river. Do anyone happen to know if any of these rivers are fishable that time of year? We are only fishing with dry flies.

Or does anyone know about any other rivers within a few hours from New York City? We dont mind driving 3-4 hours if we can get some dryfly action.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me out with this.

Thanks smiling smiley

Best regards

If you are looking for info on the New York area there is a site I use to connect with folks. Great info: [www.flyfishingcommunity.com]
