fly fishing in no NJ

Any streams in nw NJ worth trying this weekend? How's the Ken Lockwood Gorge, Muskie and Pequest lately?
Born & raised in NJ, so don't need directions, just some sage advice, even if it's "don't bother; wait til Sept."
PS - I'm a strictly C&R.
Thanks.
Tight Lines!

My partner has recently had great days on Ken Lockwood gorge, but i'm not sure which stretches, exactly. forget the Flatbrook - totally overfished and they're spooky as all hell. shame...this used to be such a productive stream.

Drive the extra 1/2 hour and go to the Bushkill/Resica Falls (route 402 above stroudsburg, PA). It was low last week and the heat put the fish down a little, but with the rain last night (7/27) and cooler temps, the weekend fishing should be ok.

Yes please come to the Bushkill at Resica Falls. And bring as many New Jersey folks as you can recruit. Maybe if we can get more out-of-state metropolitans like yourself to buy non-resident licenses, the PA Fish and Boat Commission will make enough money that they can quit stocking hatchery fish in our wild trout streams as part of their lame-ass idea of providing a fulfilling fishing experience to dimwitted baiters in order to raise license revenues.

If you're up for a bit of a drive, I strongly suggest Starrucca Creek in Susquehanna Co. There is little to no fishing pressure there.
On second thought, don't go there. It might actually be the worst trout stream on earth. I don't know you and I would feel awful duping a fellow human being into wasting such a substantial piece of time by traveling there. Fishing there is like taking a dump in a bag and wearing it as a hat. You can do it, but I strongly urge against it.
