stonefly nymphs

does anyone fish stonefly nymphs, if so, how do u do on them?

Dead drift / on the swing give them a twitch ........where are you fishing them ???
and for what type of fish??

most freestone gradient streams have plentiful populations
of stoneflies...like 2 dogs says dead drift and swing works well, and i like them especially in fast and churny pocket water. the ripped-up currents tend to ruffle them out and about, so try to hi-stick with enough weight to get down and around those dug out holding lies. you'll lose flies, but if you don't your not getting to the fish. just my take...good luck
