flyfishingconnection.com and conservation issues - June, 2000

Conservation is a necessary part of keeping our fisheries healthy, strong, and free of devastating problems. Without the help of concerned fishermen, the demise of fisheries in the future is almost inevitable. There are so many people fishing today, we need to address certain issues now, to ensure the future of the sport we all love. Stream erosion, pollution, clear cutting of trees, and diseases such as whirling disease are a few examples of problems that exist now and will in the future without needed attention.

Our goal at flyfishingconnection.com is to help bring notice to issues surrounding our rivers and streams, and to serve as a voiceto the flyfishing community. If there are any issues that need to be addressed and are being overlooked, or in anyway we can help, please drop us an e-mail to flyfishingconnection.com and we will respond back to you as best we can. Flyfishingconnection.com will do what we can to help and a portion of the proceeds received from advertising will be donated back to the preservation of our waterways.
